summer outfits :)

Its that time of year again.. when i want to restock my closet with all the new cloths out there. Too bad my lack of job and college loans keep me from shopping every day. But a girl can dream cant she? well here are a few things i picked out from forever 21 that i wouldn't mind having for the summer :)

I love the summer and i love all the cute cloths that come with it. Now i just need to keep going to the gym so i can wear all the fun new cloths coming out this season!!

Wish i could online window shop all day but i need to get my sorting/counting activity ready for the kiddos tomorrow!

LAST BATON COMP

I have been twirling since i was seven. I never took it real serious, i took lessons and i always twirled for my school. I have always enjoyed performing even though i get REALLY nervous before going out. MY favorite performance was always friday night football games with the altoon band. I would gett his rush that i cannot explaine. Marching in from the baseball field and the sound of the cadance and the smell of hair spray pumped me up more than anything else!! Just having the entire stadium with their eyes on you was an amazing feeling. I know lys n ky can agree with me on this one.

Indoor baton as always been alot of work!! When i was in 10th grade we won our first indoor comp. Its an amazing feeling for all your hard work to pay off. My friends and i spend tue/wed/thur nights in the boys gym for months preparinf for the comps! I wish i could say i did indoor my senior yr of HS but i didnt i couldnt stand working w my coach so here were 5 of us seniors who decided not to to do it.

Sru illusions has been a HUGE part of my life at slippery rock! I had the best of times with this group! We were a group of 25-40 girls so of course there was drama and fights and she said BS but i there were laughs good times and tears that i wouldnt trade for the world. I have met some of my all time best friends through the illusions and i am sad to say that we had our last comp on sat. We have always done well but im proud to say that under the direction of kels we are undeafeated and won first place in all 6 comps!! I always complained about practice, but i will have to say i dont know what ill do without baton being a huge part of my life anymore.



Every ending is a new begining and i can not wait to see where my life is headed now. I am free to follow my heart and take chances! I can not wait to to teach and have my own class! This chapter of my life is closing but i cant start to write the next one!

so busy

wow i have not written in like three weeks? i am soo busy trying to finish up my last semester at slippery rock!! cant believe it. i am teaching circle time tomorrow in head start so i need to get ready for that and get to bed at a descent time.. haha nice thought. I will def update with pics and try and think of something more exciting to talk about.
