*formal*

Every year the illusions have a spring formal! Our theme this year was VEGAS! We rent out a room in a hotel serve dinner, dance, and give out awards!! We dress up and have a great time.. this year was no exception :) I love my ladies and i am going to miss them soo much. These are the nights i will never forget

My date this year was phil :) he was a great date and we had an amazingg time!! Everyone said we looked cute together so it was a success.




After the formal dinner/dance we whent back to kels apartment for an after party:)!! we had so much fun hanging out and we continued the dance party lol. Here is a pic of all the beautiful ladies!

Life Unexpected

I have recently started watching a new show called life unexpected on the cw. It was on after my all time favorite show one tree hill! The show is a little different then the other shows I have watched before.. one tree hill started out with high school kids and then jumped up 4 years and they are now in their early 20's. The OC was also about high school teens and their love/life adventures.. However this show does have a high school girl at the center of it the other two main characters are her parents (in their early 30's) who gave their daughter (lux) up for adoption when she was born bc they were only in high school. The show started with their daughter coming back into their life after 15 years. The shows focuses on their struggle as a family and all of them finding how they are going to fit into their new life. The show has happy moments and sad moments .. all the great elements of a great tv show :) I rarely have time to keep up with tv shows but since Monday nights are my free nights and the show is on Monday night it works out PERFECTLY! I love just having an hr to myself every week to watch a show that I really enjoy!

The other show I currently watch is greek which is about college kids and its in the second season and I have been watching it since the first season. The show is more laid back than life unexpected but its a funn show and i connect with it because I'm a college student too! Monday night relaxing it a great way to start off my busy week!! I wont have many nights like this over the summer because student teaching is going to run 12 weeks of my summer. Which I am extremely excited about but also a little nervous to be soo busy!!

The weather was beautiful today after it stopped raining. Hoping that tomorrow is a nice day too!! good night :)

what a GREAT day

I have been having a rough couple days.. I guess its just all the stress in my life I have been letting it get to me lately. However yesterday was a great day!! And I really needed a day like that :) I need to remind myself to be happy about what I do have in life and that everything will work out and I can then say that it was worth the wait..


First my ladies from illusions and I went to a competition in Sharon, Pa. We practice twice a week and we all put a ton of work into our routines so even though its nerve racking, it feels amazzing to perform it for people. I had a no-drop in both my performances so that always makes me feel GREAT! The majorettes placed first and we even got medals because it was regionals so that was fun!! No matter how much i complained about illusions I am glad that I did it all four years I was here at Slipper Rock. I made a ton of amazingg friends and we always have a ton of fun together. I will miss these ladies as we all go our separate ways come may 8th..

Since it was a beautiful day my friends alex and linds and I decided to get some lunch and go to the SRU park and play around and have a good time! I felt like a little kids again :)

After a fun day at the park kels lyss and I decided we needed to have a fun night out. Luke and ben were up so they went out with us too!! It was kels friends bday so we celebrated that with them last night! I had alot of fun, I haunt been out in awhile and it was much needed! I love my friends so much I dont know what I would do without them in my life!!

Today is going to be spent working and studying.. I have another history and phil exam on wed and I hate that class.. so its going to take a lot of studying. Im doing better so I also hope to hit up the gym this evening. Hoping today stays a nice peaceful calm sunday..

another sunny day!

MmMm.. well I went to class this morning but I wasn't feeling well, my side was still hurting, so my friend Becca took me to the hospital to see what was up. I wasn't there too long and I found out I had a Kidney Infection, so they gave me some meds for that. Hopefully, I'm feeling better in a few days.

I am getting into the show project runway.. I have been watching it randomly all season and I just love watching these designers come up with! These are cloths I would never wear, but they are very runway!! I remember when Lyss wanted to be a fashion designer and my momma told her how hard it would be to make it so she kind of let that idea go... she was young but I don wonder what would have happen if she had gone for it anyway.

Well today was another gorgeous day out and I am so excited that spring it right around the corner and I can wear tank tops and flip flops!! Im a happy girl when I can wear flip flops and sun glasses with my ipod in my back pocket! Hoping tomorrow is nice out, thinking is so I will go for a walk and spend some time outside and I can cheeeer myself up!!

New at all this ...

Im not really into all this blogging stuff and I dont really know how to use any of it. Lyssa had to help me with it because im lost haha.. I wanted to create one so I could read and comment on the stuff my sisters were writing about. So hopefully some intresting things happen so im not too boring on here.



Today was st Patrick's day : one of my fav days of the year because im irish:) However, I didn't get to celebrate it because I had work, class, and practice! But after practice Kels and I had a ben and jerrys date which was amazzing :) Cookie dough is my choice of flavor!
